 Aldebaran Paddle Co. crafts high-quality, handmade wooden tools, blending functionality with artistry. Our custom canoe and kayak paddles are carefully crafted* for performance and durability, perfect for long days on the water. We also design and build rock climbing hangboards, tailored to help climbers build finger strength and tenacity. Each piece is thoughtfully made, celebrating  the natural materials which are so integral to our ecosystems, while supporting the adventures they’re built for. Our specialty is the Greenland Paddle, thoughtfully built from lightweight, durable cedar, and designed for touring, sea kayaking, and general recreational use. Greenland paddles help develop paddle dexterity, are easier on joints on shoulders for long trips, and are better for sculling, ruddering, and bracing than typical wide-blade kayak paddles.
